Mahera Dutta is a content producer and news junkie. At Lightbox she develops editorial content across formats and oversees the firm's social media strategy.

Mahera started her career with Network 18’s Moneycontrol in 2021. She has also dabbled in research for prime-time television shows while working with the news channel Mirror Now in early 2022. 

Most recently, she worked with fact-checkers at BOOM Fact-Check, India’s first online resource to fight misinformation, where she oversaw all content production from videos to podcasts while managing the organisation’s social media platforms. 

When not chasing deadlines and reading the many newsletters that overwhelm her inbox, she indulges in long walks, cooking, photography, and travel.
