Sharan Seth

Analyst, Investment Operations

After doing his undergrad at Claremont McKenna College, Sharan spent over 3 years with Ernst and Young's financials services vertical. First in New York and then in London, Sharan gained most of his experience within the Valuation, Modelling and Economics team. He worked with the firm’s private equity, venture capital, and banking clients on projects that involved the valuation of equity, debt and other complex securities such as carried interest schemes and employee stock options.

Sharan's interest in the venture and start-up world predates his time at EY to 2015 - when he spent time working at a start-up incubator in the Bay Area. During his time there, he helped two early stage companies assess product-market fit and streamline user experience. More recently in 2020, he assisted YourSpace, a student housing start-up in India on the business development and partnerships side.

Outside of work, he loves his football but has been kept off of the football field after a second ACL tear and is now looking to spend more time on the golf course and tennis courts. Sharan is also a keen scuba diver, having completed his Advanced Open Water certification in 2013 and accumulating 50+ dives around the world.
