A lawyer Padmini did her LLB from ILS Law College in 2013 and then did an LLM in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from New York University in 2014.

After graduating, she worked at Khaitan & Co. with their competition team for a year. Subsquently she was a senior associate at AZB & Partners.

She quit the law firm, did a 600 kilometer long cycle ride in the Himalayas and resh from the mountains, began working at Lightbox.
